The countdown is over, and the excitement is at its peak as Budapest prepares to welcome the long-awaited launch of the WOODCircle mobility project. Starting today, and for the next five days, 20 talented young people from the 5 project partner countries working in the wood and furniture sector will be immersed in an experience at the heart of the European wood industry.
The WOODCircle project, the result of collaboration between 6 dedicated European partners, has created more than just mobility. It's a unique opportunity for these young workers to discover what goes on behind the scenes in the wood industry, from production to design and recycling, through visits to factories and specialist studios.
Today marks the start of this rewarding week with a packed programme. Participants will be warmly welcomed and introduced to the WOODCircle project, before diving into the week's planned activities. Team-building games on the circular economy, as well as a presentation of the work to be done, will mark the start of mobility. The week's programme will continue with an exciting visit to the KOMOK design studio, where participants will have the opportunity to discover the furniture recycling process in an interactive way, and plenty of other activities mixing culture, history, modernity and practicality.
This first day promises to be rich in discoveries and exchanges, offering participants a fascinating insight into what awaits them over the next few days. Stay tuned for the adventures of the participants as they immerse themselves in this unique experience of training and collaboration within the European wood and furniture industry.
